Where to Ask for Jail, Court, and Records Help
Le Sueur County's jail, sheriff records staff, and district court are connected to the Justice Center in Le Center, but each office handles a different part of an arrest record. Public counter hours located in the research for the Justice Center and court are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; custody operations may not follow public-counter hours.

Use the list below to match the question to the right search path before calling or filing a request.
- For a person currently held at the county jail, start with jail inmate records and then call the jail if the roster does not answer the custody question.
- For booking photos and public-photo limits, use jail roster mugshots and request unavailable booking-photo data through sheriff records.
- For formal charges, hearings, and case filings after booking, use court records after a jail arrest or contact District Court.
- For facility-specific address, visitation, mail, phone, and money details, use the Le Sueur County Jail page listed in the footer.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Minnesota Department of Corrections locator at https://coms.doc.state.mn.us/publicviewer/.
- For federal custody, use the BOP inmate locator; for immigration custody, use ICE ODLS. Neither system is a Le Sueur County jail roster.
